Vintage 50s white crepe maxi dress with long sleeves, a kimono style overlay, pintuck chest detail and ruffle and ribbon detailing.

Made from an original Vogue pattern: "These labels were provided by the Vogue pattern company to home sewers. If you find one of these labels in a garment, it is an indication that it was sewn using a Vogue pattern. Often, these garments were very well made, as some of the patterns were quite difficult to sew and were attempted only by skilled seamstresses" (taken from Vintage Fashion Guild).

True vintage, not a reproduction. A very special piece with beautiful movement, texture and delicate finishing.

Condition: 10/10

Size: XS, would recommend for a UK 6-8, depending on desired fit.

Two lovely jumpers

I ordered two jumpers, one wool and one cotton, and I couldn't wait until they arrived. I tried them on immediately and they are amazing - really good quality, vintage items, I'm pretty sure one of them was handmade as it doesn't have any tags and they're both so unique. Laura Ashley Chunky Corduroy Maxi Dress

Oh my what a brilliant Laura this is. I have this cut in other fabrics but in corduroy it is just amazing. Excellent for flouncing about in, performing in, popping to the shops in - basically entirely brilliant all round.
